The Client

Our client, a self-funded entrepreneur, approached Wknd Builds to develop a minimum viable product (MVP) web application that would connect aspiring artists with expert musicians. The goal of the application was to provide a platform for aspiring artists to receive feedback on their work at a quick turnaround time for a fair, affordable rate.

The Challenge

One of the main challenges of this project was creating a user-friendly interface that would allow aspiring artists to easily send their work to experts for review. This included the ability to upload various types of media, such as video, audio, text messages, and documents.

Another challenge was to limit the interaction between the aspiring artist and the expert to 5 minutes, to maximize efficiency. This required careful planning and development of the application's functionality.

The Solution

Wknd Builds is known for its drive and obsession for crafting and developing clean, intuitive applications, and this project was no exception. Our team worked tirelessly to develop the MVP web app in only 4 weeks. We created a user-friendly interface that allowed aspiring artists to easily upload their work and send it to experts for review. To limit the interaction between the users to 5 minutes, we implemented a timer function that automatically ends the interaction after 5 minutes. This ensured that the interactions between the two parties were efficient and productive.

The application also integrated with Stripe and PayPal, which enabled a 2-way marketplace for users. Aspiring artists can pay experts for their feedback, and experts can also earn money by providing feedback to the aspiring artists.
